As CEO, Russ Garcia brings over 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry. As vice president of Marketing for Silicon Systems/Texas Instruments Storage Products, he led Silicon Systems’ overall market strategy, product planning, business development and partnership strategy, culminating in the acquisition of Silicon Systems by Texas Instruments, where he remained as vice president of Marketing and led the growth of Texas Instruments Storage Products Group to over $1B. Most recently he served as president and CEO of u-Nav Microelectronics, a venture-backed fabless GPS semiconductor company leading the development of the first “Single-chip” GPS device. Additionally, he has held technical and management positions at Plessey Semiconductors and Hughes Aircraft Company. Garcia holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico.

Jeff Hilbert is a co-founder of the company, bringing over 30 years of executive management and technical experience in a number of leading semiconductor and MEMS companies including LSI Logic, Compass Design Automation, AMCC, Motorola, Harris and Coventor. Hilbert holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Florida and master of science in computer science from Florida Institute of Technology.

As CFO, Mark Becker brings over 20 years experience in the semiconductor industry. As Interim CFO for both Telasic Communications, Inc. in El Segundo, Calif. and u-Nav Microelectronics, Inc. in Irvine, Calif., Becker was deeply involved in reducing the operating expenses of each company, reducing cash consumption and also actively participating in equity fund raising efforts. He also served as vice president and chief financial officer for Transdimension, Inc. in Irvine, Calif and Jazz Semiconductor, Inc. in Newport Beach, Calif. While at Jazz Semiconductor, Becker was promoted from Conexant to lead a team of 20 employees including finance, legal and information systems. In this role, he as responsible for the development and implantation of the overall finance infrastructure and strategy. He was also responsible for the 2004 S-1 public registration filing by Jazz Semiconductor. Becker a holds a bachelor of arts in Accounting and Political Science from American University and a master of business administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a certified public accountant.

Art Morris brings over 20 years of experience in high-frequency electronics and devices. He has contributed to device technologies from traveling wave tubes to HBTs and developed products for markets from high voltage instrumentation to broadband communication systems. Prior to WiSpry, Dr. Morris was director of technology at Microcosm Technologies (now Coventor), responsible for next-generation development for RF and optical applications of MEMS. Dr. Morris was previously a development manager and acting development director at Raychem Corp. (now part of Tyco Electronics), responsible for product development for wireless, twisted pair and HFC networks. Dr. Morris is a senior member of the IEEE and is an adjunct professor at NCSU.
