WiSpry President to be Featured Speaker at the MEPTEC MEMS Symposium

Irvine, Calif., May 19, 2010 — WiSpry, Inc., the leader in programmable radio frequency (RF) semiconductor products for the wireless industry, today announced that president and founder, Jeffrey Hilbert will be a featured speaker for the MEPTEC MEMS Symposium on Thursday, May 20 in San Jose, Calif. During his session on “Integrated RF-CMOS MEMS Solutions for Mobile Applications,” Hilbert will highlight state-of-the-art results from the implementation of software tunable, digital, RF-MEMS circuits. He will also present future integration and research directions as well as product applications to highlight the greatest challenges and opportunities.

“Emerging 3G and 4G cellular applications have intensified the requirements for a new, disruptive technology to implement next-generation mobile hardware, particularly in the RF front-end of these devices,” said Mr. Hilbert. “Deep integration of tunable RF devices with high volume mainstream CMOS technology provides the only scalable approach to enhancing the consumer experience through fewer dropped calls and improved battery life while achieving the cost points required for success in the mobile applications market. I am excited to present the evolution of MEMS-CMOS technology integration from the perspective of process, device and product integration in 180nm RF-CMOS.”

About MEPTEC

Since its inception thirty years ago, MEPTEC (Microelectronics Packaging and Test Engineering Council) has provided a forum for semiconductor packaging and test professionals to learn and exchange ideas that relate to assembly, test and handling. Its symposiums and workshops provide semiconductor suppliers and manufacturers the tools to enhance the competitiveness of the back-end portion of the semiconductor business.
